4th Century BC. That’s long before the wise men, Jesus or anybody like that. The Druids started second guessing nature, themselves and whatever was around them; which couldn’t have been much. Hell, Mohammad was a long way from having anything to do with anything.
Stonehenge, one of the oldest known examples of a place of worship was thought to be inspired by Druids. Modern science suggests they didn’t actually build Stonehenge though. I mean what kind of crazy person would drag thousands of pounds of rock from Scotland to outside London just have a church?
My point here is because the Druids believed in all things Natural and developed the ideas of Paganism and moon cycles, most of the modern religions got their ideas from Druids, Dude. Oh, and Epiphany, one of the oldest Christian holidays, is one full moon cycle after the Solstice. Christmas comes just after the winter Solstice. Easter occurs after the spring full moon. Ramadan is based on the timing of a Crescent Moon in the ninth month around the Fall Equinox and lasts one full moon cycle. As is Diwali, a huge Hindu celebration.
So this Solstice when Nature drops the shades early and the Cold full moon has moved by, remember it isn’t Mother Mary but Mother Nature that sets things in motion.

Got something to say? Lemeno.
