I’m sorry but I have to interject here. Possibly one the dumbest phrases perpetrating the English language these days are the above words, which I will not repeat. Not only are those words stupid and redundant but they’re stupid and redundant.

That particular phrase is for people getting paid by the word who don’t care if they insult someone’s time and intelligence. Of course “it was said”. You just said it. Move on, you idiot. Can’t think of what you’re going to write next? Throw in a stupid phrase while you think of something intelligent.

I’m sure it’s because my mother was an English major which forced me into AP English in high school. Never the less…wait, there’s a good option. Point is, stop being a lazy writer use your words.
