We were in our local Lattè shop yesterday. They were serving free coffee drinks all day to celebrate their third anniversary. Philip, one of the owners and world-class barista sat down to visit. Philip and I share a similar, twisted sense of humor so I always enjoy our conversations. Just as he sat down, his landlord walked by and handed him a folded check and said “happy anniversary”. Philip looked at the check and realized it was the rent check he had just written her. Just thought I would share that.
